| Congress MLA says rotten flour supplied in Doda | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 8: Former Minister and MLA Bhaderwah Mohammad Sharief Niaz called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar today and apprised him about supply of rotten atta to the people of Doda by the CAPD department.
Niaz informed the Chief Minister that ration supplied by the CAPD department is not fit for human consumption and demanded action against the officials responsible for supply of rotten atta. He appealed the government for immediate restoration of supply of ration to the area to avoid further starvation in this mountainous district.
During the meeting Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the demand and assured that the matter will be looked into and appropriate directions shall be passed on to the concerned authorities accordingly.
