| 42 MHAC Nagbani students leave for Dalhousie | | Dalhousie-Chamba Himalayan Trekking Programme | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 09: Another batch, comprising 42 students and two teachers of MHAC School, Nagbani today left for Dalhousie to participate in Dalhousie-Chamba Himalayan Trekking Programme, organised by Tawi Trekkers, J&K. The group was flagged-off by Ram Khajuria, secretary of the Club. Speaking to the trekkers and their parents, Khajuria apprised the gathering that the main purpose of the programme. He said that trekking is to initiate the young students into outdoor life and also to bring them close to nature. He also dwelt at length on the educative value of adventure sports and their role in the over all personality development of a child. Meanwhile, the first group of trekkers, which left Jammu on June six, has reported back after a thrilling trekking experience.
