| Govt. a mute spectator to road mishaps on NH-B, says PDP leader | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 9 Lambasting the NC -Congress coalition for its complete failure to take necessary steps to avoid accidents on Batote Kishtwar NH –B, senior PDP leader Prof. Shohab Malik today said over hundred passengers have lost their live in different road accidents the government instead of taking any remedial step is acting like a mute spectator. Showing his concerns over the alarming rise of accidents on Batote-Kishtwar NH-B, the PDP leader said that time have come when government should initiate action against authorities responsible for these incidents. “There is no check on the traffic violations on NH-B and this is the main cause behind the accidents,” he said adding that there is no compliance of the government orders as the corruption is so rampant that government orders are let go to winds Demanding compensation to the victims and free treatment to the injured, squarely blamed the government for its failure to take remedial measures. “Rupees five lakh compensation to the kind of the deceased and free treatment to the injured should be given immediately,” he added
