JAMMU: Expressing dissatisfaction with Patnitop Development Authority in making the Dudu-Basantgarh a tourist destination, independent candidate from Ramnagar Assembly Constituency R. S Pathania has demanded that there should be separate Tourism Development Authority (TDA) in the area to explore it as tourist destination, which already had a wide scope.
He also urged upon the Union Tourism Minister and State Tourism Minister to bring Chounatra Mata, Pingla Mata and Bihara Choura Mata shrines under shrine board. He also said that steps should be taken for employment and development in the hilly areas so that opportunities for youth could be generated.
