| BVP adopt girl child | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 9: Rigzin Dolma, a girl child was adopted by Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Trikuta nagar here today.
The adopting ceremony was held in presence of chief guest prof Ajit Angral who appreciated the role of BVP and said educating a girl child is really a step towards developing the country.
President Prof. Vijaya Luxmi while speaking on the occasion said that Parishad wishes to take over new projects in future too which will help in building society.
Earlier Secretary B.V.P. Vanita Kohli welcomed the guest while Treasurer T.C. Taggar presented vote of thanks.
Those present on the occasion included Prof. Sateesh Anand, Shabh Chander Verma and Dr. Subhash Gupta.
