PHE employees resent transfer policy

Jammu, June 9: The employees of PHE department today held a protest rally against new transfer policy of the minister. Addressing the protesters president of PHE, employees association, Bakshi Singh said the concerned minister is behaving like a dictator with PHE employees and is diverting the attention of employees from the basic issues in the name of so called work culture.
He asked the minister abandon the anti-employees and anti-workers policies. He urged the state govt. for conceding all pending demands of the PHE employees viz., enhancement of wages of workers from Rs 70/- to Rs 150/- per day and be paid at uniform rate to all sorts of workers, regularization of workers those who have completed seven years.
Subash Chander Verma, provincial general secretary of the association while addressing said that the new transfer policy of the PHE minister is nothing but a blackmailing tactics which is condemnable. He appealed to the minister concerned to withdraw such black and so called order at the earliest in the interest of department as well as the employees.
