| 2 HuM militants killed in Sopore | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, June 10 : Two unidentified separatist guerrillas were killed today in a fierce gunfight with security personnel in north Kashmir's Sopore town, police said. Based on specific inputs the troops of Sopore police ,22 RR & 179,177 CRPF at Dangerpora Sopore jointly cordoned the target area a house in which the militants had taken shelter. Noticing movement the militants opened fire upon sectary forces which was retaliated by the security forces ensuing an encounter during the intervening night of June 09/10. Two militants were killed in the ensuing encounter, who were later identified as Kalimulla @ Ali Sher R/o Pakistan Dy. Chief operation commander of HuM outfit and Mumtaz Ahmad Parray S/o Ali Mohd Parray R/o Pethseer Sopore of HuM, police said adding that two AK47 rifles, four AK magazines, two pouches and one dairy were recovered from the slain militants. Police spokesperson also added that Kalimulla @ Ali Sher was involved in the killing of one SPO namely Fayaz Ahmad R/o Bomia Sopore on May 31this year and added that he was also involved in the number of grenade attacks in Sopore Town in the recent past.
