Early Times Report POONCH, June 25: The Indian Army conducted an awareness talk on health at Dak Bungalow, Loran in Poonch district, with the aim of promoting healthy living, disease prevention and community well-being among local residents. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from people of different age groups, who gathered to learn about essential health practices and preventive healthcare measures. During the session, Army personnel highlighted the importance of personal hygiene, balanced diet, regular physical activity and timely medical check-ups. Special emphasis was laid on prevention of seasonal diseases, early recognition of common illnesses and seeking medical assistance without delay. Participants were also educated about the significance of clean drinking water, proper sanitation, vaccination, child care, nutrition and mental health awareness.
