JAMMU, June 25: As part of its sustained efforts to maintain peace, security, and public confidence in the border belt and adjoining areas, Jammu Police conducted a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the jurisdiction of Police Station Khour. The operation was carried out under the supervision of senior officers by a police team of Police Station Khour along with personnel from all Border Police Posts (BPPs) and Police Posts (PPs) falling under its jurisdiction. The objective of the operation was to strengthen the security grid, maintain vigil over sensitive areas, deter anti-social and anti-national elements, and ensure a safe and secure environment for the general public. During the operation, police teams conducted thorough searches and intensified patrolling in identified areas. Special attention was paid to vulnerable locations and strategic points to ensure effective surveillance and area domination. The operation was conducted smoothly and peacefully. No suspicious movement or unlawful activity was noticed during the search operation, and no untoward incident was reported from any area.
