| ADC Jammu chairs DLRC/DCC meeting for quarter ended March 2026 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 25: To review the performance of banks and line departments for the quarter ended March 2026, the District Level Review Committee (DLRC)/District Consultative Committee (DCC) meeting of Jammu district was held today under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Vidhu Shekhar. The meeting held at the district headquarter was convened by Lead District Manager Ajay Kumar Thapa. At the outset, the LDM presented a comprehensive report on bank performance in deposits, priority-sector advances, financial inclusion initiatives and implementation of government-sponsored schemes. Issues concerning credit flow and banking outreach in the district were discussed. The Chair called for active participation by all banks in the ongoing Financial Inclusion Saturation Campaign to ensure comprehensive coverage of eligible beneficiaries under various financial inclusion schemes. Banks were directed to expedite disposal of pending cases under government-sponsored schemes and Mission YUVA, with timely sanction and disbursement of eligible applications. Banks were also urged to extend necessary support and banking services during the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. On improving the district's Credit-Deposit Ratio, the Chair advised banks to enhance credit flow through increased lending to productive sectors and eligible borrowers. Banks and line departments were advised to coordinate closely to achieve the district's developmental and financial inclusion objectives. Among those present were Deputy Director Employment Sunaina Saini, Chief Agriculture Officer Manohar Lal Sharma, RBI Lead District Officer Sourabh Gupta, NABARD District Development Manager Vikrant, representatives of NABARD, banks and officials from various line departments. |
