Jammu, June 10: “World Environment Day” was celebrated by all ranks and families of Ratnuchak Military Station on 05 Jun 09. A ‘Run For Clean Earth’ was held in the morning followed by a drawing competition for children on ‘Environment Theme’. Thought provoking skits on various environment issues were presented in the evening and the day culminated by lectures on ‘Pollution Control’ and “Save the Planet Earth” by Dr Rajkumar Rampal, Associate Professor , Department of Environmental Sciences, Jammu University. Mrs Neelam Sandhu, President Sabre AWWA gave away prizes to the winners of competitions.
