| PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Jammu organizes 55th Regional Sports Meet (Boys) | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 27: The two-day 55th Regional Sports Meet (Boys ) 2026 scheduled for 27th and 28th June 2026, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit at PM Shri KV No.1 Jammu under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office Jammu. The event marked the beginning of an exciting sporting extravaganza aimed at promoting physical fitness, teamwork and healthy competition among students.
A total of 85 students accompanied by 19 escort teachers are participating in the two-day sports meet with great zeal and enthusiasm. PM Shri KV No.1 Jammu is hosting competitions in Skating, Swimming & Diving, Boxing, Shooting and Archery, where young sportspersons are showcasing their talent, determination and competitive spirit under various age categories.
The sports meet has brought together participants from various Kendriya Vidyalayas of the Jammu Region, providing a platform for budding athletes to display their abilities and strengthen. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Principal, Akash Gupta who addressed the gathering and motivated the participants. |
