Early Times Report BANDIPORA, June 29: District Mentor for Bandipora and Member, J&K Special Tribunal, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza and Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib on Monday chaired a review meeting at the Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat Bandipora to assess progress of revenue records digitization under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP). Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani, briefed the chair through a presentation covering the status of Jamabandi digitization, grievance redressal, Grievance Camps, backlog mutations, JK Zameen Sudhaar portal, Digital Crop Survey, geo-referencing, BhuNaksha, paperless registration, SVAMITVA, AgriStack integration and implementation challenges. District Mentor Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza directed officers to complete all pending Jamabandis within the timeline prescribed by the Chief Secretary, address public grievances on priority and ensure review of quasi-judicial cases in a transparent and time-bound manner. He stressed accuracy, transparency and accountability as the cornerstones of the digitization exercise. The DC urged field-level revenue functionaries to work with dedication, maintain close coordination and adhere strictly to prescribed timelines so that benefits of digital land records reach citizens without delay. An interactive session was also held during which the District Mentor addressed queries of revenue officers on technical and procedural aspects of the programme. |
