| CCI felicitates Azad, presents memorandum | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 10: The chamber of commerce and industries today felicitates former Chief Minister and present Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare at Chamber office today. All the member of CCI were present on the occasion.
A memorandum was also submitted on the occasion. As per a press release Ram Sahai, president Chamber of Commerce and Industries through memo apprised Union Health Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad that it was in your tenure as Chief Minister of J&K State that the idea of cross LOC trade was conceived which had become a came reality thereafter because the basic issues of facilitating the regular and smooth trade were not addressed and attended to properly. He further said that we do not have communication links through ISD or courier service from our side to Pok side and the matter regarding use of which currency has not been decided due to which the restricted and in absence of cross LOC Banking system the bank transactions are not possible and it is requested to take up the matter with the concerned ministries, so that LOC trade is started is started in real sense, the release added.
