| PHE employees asso hold meet at Mahore | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 10: The water works PHE employees association in a meeting at Mahore discussed various problems faced by the under the chairmanship of Haji Abdul Majeed. Speaking on the occasion Vijay Luthura secretary of association said that the demands of PHE employees like one and half days pay, benefit to non-ITI employees under SRO 149 have already been accepted by the government but not implemented so far. He urged upon the government that non-ITI employees should be given full benefit under SRO 149 and one and half days pay should also be released to the PHE employees. The pay of ITI employees may be released at the earliest as the same has not been paid to them for the last several months. He also stressed for improvement of basic infrastructure like repair water tanks, Chokidar quarters etc. Pranav Shagotra in his address demanded enhancement of salary of CP workers from Rs. 500\- Pm to Rs. 3100/- pm. He said that the CP workers of Jammu division should be treated at par the CP workers of Kashmir Valley. Prominent among those attended the meeting including Ravi Kumar, Raman Kumar, Joginder Pal, Surinder Kumar, Minshi Ram, Abdul Qayoom, Shabir Ahmed and Hukum Singh etc.
