6/30/2026 10:26:28 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 30: There is no political match of the National Conference in the Pir Panjal region. The overwhelming public response during the extensive organisational tour led by the Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, along with Provincial President Rattan Lal Gupta and other senior party functionaries, has once again proved the party's deep roots and unmatched popularity among the people.
Public meetings witnessed enthusiastic participation across the Pir Panjal region.
The speakers highlighted the people's demands regarding roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, tourism, drinking water, and unemployment.
The Deputy Chief Minister assured the people that the Omar Abdullah-led Government is committed to the balanced and equitable development of every region of Jammu & Kashmir and that all genuine developmental demands would be addressed in a phased and time-bound manner.
The successful conclusion of the tour reflected the people's confidence and trust in the National Conference and the Omar Abdullah-led Government despite attempts by political opponents to mislead the public. The objective of conducting such outreach programmes was to resolve the public issues and greviances at gross root level.
The statement also reiterated the Government's commitment to restoring full statehood to Jammu & Kashmir and safeguarding the democratic aspirations of its people.
The massive public participation and overwhelming response throughout the Pir Panjal tour have sent a clear message that the National Conference continues to enjoy the confidence of the people, and no political party can match its strength, credibility, and grassroots connect in the region.
