| Yogi welcomes first batch of Amarnath Yatris | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 2: Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party senior leader M.K.Yogi and incharge SHANGUS Constituency has today welcomed the first batch of Amar Nath Yatris who were flagged off by Lt.Governor Manoj Sinha Ji from Bhagwati Nagar base camp Jammu and hoped that this year this holy Yatra will break all previous records by participation of large number of pilgrims from different parts of country and abroad. In a statement issued today, Yogi has lauded the eloborate and adequate arrangements made by the LG administration right from Lakhanpur to holy cave keeping in view the all yatra related parameters for smooth conduct of this holy Yatra. Yogi also appreciated the role of locals who are playing key role in making this holy Yatra a grand success since decades and hope this year also they same is being expected from them. He appealed all the country men to come in large numbers and undertake this holy voyage for religious rituals. Yogi and his team recieved and welcomed the first batch of Yatris at Nunwan Base camp and garlanded them with flowers. Usual Pooja Archana was performed at Gouri Mandir also. Yogi appealed LG and UT administration to make every possible effort for smooth and safe conduct of this holy Yatra which not only cements communal harmony, brotherhood but always also pave a way for peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir. The team members who accompanied the senior leader Yogi were Mohd Yousuf Sofi, kulvindar Singh Bali, Mohmad naved shah and many others. |
