Early Times Report JAMMU, July 2: Dr. Ankush Raina, Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), represented University at the International Conference on 2D MatTech Global: Fundamentals to Applications (2DMTG 2026) held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. At the conference, Dr. Raina presented his research on advanced materials and tribology, sharing the ongoing work being carried out at SMVDU with researchers, academicians, and industry experts from India and abroad. The event provided a platform to exchange ideas, discuss emerging trends in two-dimensional materials and advanced manufacturing, and explore opportunities for future research collaborations. Reflecting on his participation, Dr. Raina said that the conference offered valuable insights into the latest developments in the field and provided meaningful interactions with leading researchers. He added that the experience would further strengthen the research being undertaken under the projects RP-150 and RP-157 at SMVDU.
