ASKPC commemorate Nirwan Diwas of Pt Vaishnavi

JAMMU, July 2: Glowing tribute were paid to the legendary unsung hero of Kashmiri Pandit community, Pt. Amar Nath Vaishnavi to commemorate his 14th Death Anniversary here today at Sanjeenvi Sharda Kendra.
Large number of community stalwarts offered their floral tribute in this emotionally chocked function organized by All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) and Shri Sanatan Dharam Yuva Sabha ( SSDYS ) under the dynamic leadership of Moti Lal Mall. The mega event served as a poignant reminder to the unwavering resilience, high moral courage and great statesmanship qualities of Pt. Vaishnavi Jee displayed especially during post migration period of community from their homeland.
While elaborating the immense contribution of Vashnavi Jee for the upliftment of society and community in particular, describing him as " Father of Community", Swami Kumar Jee from Geeta Santang Ashram, Ajay Bhari, Ex MLC from BJP and Vijay Bakaya, former Chief Secretary and Ex. MLC graced this one day long event, in which heads of more than 50 social organizations participated with full enthusiasm and high spirits recollecting immense contribution made by him.
Imminent speakers who spoke on this occasion included Prof. Virender Rawal, Shiban Khaibri, Kuldeep Kashmiri, Rajiv Pandita, H.L. Bhat, Kanwal Peshin, B.K. Sanyasi, A.K. Dhar, Sundari Lal Koul, Opinder Lidoo, M.K.Koul and Shiban Jee Dhar who recalled various facets of remarkable personality and extra ordinary leadership qualities of Pt. Vaishnavi Jee in bringing together Kashmiri Pandit community during its challenging times and presented their tribute for his tireless efforts and selfless service for helping the underprivileged needy.
P.K.Raina and Dr. Daleep Pandita, who participated virtually while paying rich homage to this sincere and honest human being par excellence, also explained supreme sacrifices made by Pt. Vaishnavi Jee during his life long socio cultural struggle in the history of community.
This entire event was gracefully managed by S.L.Koul, Naveen Handoo and R.K.Bhat which got concluded with vote of thanks on behalf of ASKPC and SSDYS under the leadership of M.L.Malla, wherein participants affirmed their full resolve to work for the unity of community and follow the noble path laid down by Pt. Vaishnavi Jee for the dignity and welfare of the community.
