| 6 KAS officers among 16 transferred | | Suraj Secretary JMC, Babu Ram new JC | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 10: Government has ordered transfers and postings of 16 officers, including six officers of the Kashmir Administrative Services. According to an order of the General Administration Department, J.S Tandon, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jammu is recalled and repatriated to his parent organization viz., Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation for further posting. Suraj Prakash Rakhwal, Under Secretary to Government Forest Department is transferred and posted as Secretary Jammu Municipal Corporation against an available vacancy on deputation basis. Before his posting in the Forest Department, Suraj was earlier Private Secretary to the then Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and also remained an Officer on Special Duty to the former Chief Minister after fall of government last year. Mohammad Shafi Kakroo, Deputy Director, Local Bodies, Kashmir is transferred and posted as General Manager, Handicrafts (S&E) Corporation Limited against an available vacancy on deputation basis. He will retain lien in his parent organization viz., J&K Agro Industries Development Corporation. Nissar Hussain Wani, KAS, Deputy Director, Employment Anantnag is transferred and posted as Deputy Director Local Bodies, Kashmir vice Mohammad Shafi Kakroo. General Manager DIC, Anantnag will hold the additional charge of the post of Deputy Director, Employment, Anantnag till further orders. Babu Ram, KAS, programme Officer, ICDS Projects, Soda is transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jammu on deputation basis vice J.S. Tandon. Assistant Commissioner Development Doda will hold the additional charge of the post of Programme Officer, ICDS projects, Doda till further orders. Charanjit, Tehsildar Relief Organization (Migrants) Jammu is transferred and deputed to the Jammu Municipal Corporation. Advance T.E. as admissible under rules is also sanctioned in favour of the officers in whose case change of station is involved. In another order, the government transfer of Khurshid Ahmad Gangoo, Administrative Officer, Hospitality and Protocol Department and posted his as Deputy Director, Employment, Pulwama relieving Assistant Commissioner (Development) Pulwama of the additional charge of the post. Shayam Sunder Gupta, Commercial Taxes Officer (CTO), Jammu is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Finance Department. Bashir Ahmad Lone, Under Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission is posted as Deputy Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission. Rajinder Kumar, Block Development Officer, Bani is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development. Haris Ahmad Handoo, Block Development Officer, Khan sahib, Budgam is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Home Department against an available vacancy. Faqir Chand Dansalia (SC), Administrative Officer, Government Medical College, Jammu is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department against an available vacancy
Sham Lal (OSC), Functional Manager, District Industries centre, Jammu is transferred and posted as Development Officer, W omen's Development Corporation Jammu against an available vacancy. Mohammad Shafi Baba, Private Secretary with Principal Secretarty to Government Science and Technology Department is transferred and posted as Special Assistant to Financial Commissioner Agrarian Reforms against an available vacancy. Mushtaq Ahmad Administrative Officer J&K Services Selection Board, Srinagar is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Forest Department against an available vacancy. The order said that the services of the following Tehsildars are Placed at the disposal of the Revenue department for further posting against KAS and equivalent level posts available in the department: Narinder KumarTehsildar, Ramnagar; Tilak Raj Sharma Tehsildar, Nowshera and Khalid Majid, Technical Assistant to Secretary to Government, Revenue Department It has further been ordered that the placement of the above officers on the higher posts is made purely on stop-gap basis in their own pay and grade and in the interest of administration and shall not confer any preferential right on them for promotion as and when appointments/promotions to the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) are made under rules and their placement on higher posts shall be subject to outcome of writ petition (s) if, any pending before a competent Court(s) and also without prejudice to the seniority of the other members of the services to which they belong.
