Early Times Report RAMBAN, July 4: The Indian Army organised a Gujjar - Bakarwal Meet at the remote location of Mori in Ramban to strengthen civil-military relations and reinforce trust with the local community. The interaction provided a meaningful platform for members of the Gujjar and Bakarwal communities to share their concerns, requirements and suggestions directly with Army representatives. During the meet, issues related to welfare, education, healthcare, livelihood support, movement in remote areas and general security were discussed in a constructive and positive manner. The Indian Army assured the participants of continued support through various outreach and welfare initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of people residing in far-flung areas.
