Sanjeevan Kumar calls for stronger health awareness at Arogya Bharati Programme

KATRA, July 5: Arogya Bharati, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh organised its Provincial Planning Meeting at the Auditorium of Sanjeevani Guest House, Kakryal, Katra, on Sunday to review the organisation's activities and prepare a roadmap for future programmes. The meeting was attended by provincial office bearers, district representatives and dedicated volunteers from different parts of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Shri Sanjeevan Kumar Ji, Member of the National Executive of Arogya Bharati and Convener of the North Zone and Rajasthan Zone, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The programme began with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony followed by Dhanvantari Stavan, creating a spiritual and inspiring atmosphere for the deliberations. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest appreciated the dedicated efforts of the volunteers in promoting preventive healthcare and creating awareness about healthy living among the people. He stressed the importance of strengthening the organisation at every level and called upon all members to work with unity, discipline and commitment for the welfare of society. During the meeting, district representatives presented detailed reports on the activities conducted in their respective areas and reviewed the progress of various health awareness campaigns, medical camps, yoga programmes and other community service initiatives. The participants discussed the achievements, challenges and future plans for expanding the organisation's activities in urban as well as rural areas. Special emphasis was laid on strengthening district and provincial units, developing trained volunteers, promoting the Arogya Mitra initiative and increasing public participation in health-related programmes. The meeting also focused on organisational management, financial planning, office administration, annual planning and better coordination among district units to ensure the effective implementation of future programmes. Representatives exchanged ideas and suggestions for improving outreach and making the organisation's activities more impactful across Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Responsibilities for upcoming programmes were assigned to different office bearers to ensure smooth execution of planned activities. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to the vision of Arogya Bharati of building a Healthy Individual, Healthy Family, Healthy Village and Healthy Nation through collective efforts and public awareness. The meeting concluded with a comprehensive review of the day's deliberations and a formal vote of thanks. Dr. Yashpal Sharma, President of Arogya Bharati, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, office bearers, district representatives and volunteers for their active participation and valuable suggestions. He said that the provincial team would continue to work with greater dedication and a spirit of service to strengthen the organisation and promote preventive healthcare, traditional health practices and community well-being throughout the region.
