| JU’s Prof Mishra returns from Mongolia | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 11: Most respected and cult figure in Mongolia for his exceptional teaching skills, Prof R K Mishra of University of Jammu today returned after completing his second assignment as Visiting Professor of Sanskrit and Buddhist Studies at National University of Mongolia. Prof Mishra was selected for this coveted assignment even last year. Impressed by his exceptional teaching skills and popularity among the target scholars, the University of Mongolia has again requested to Government of India to send Prof Mishra on same assignment event next year. The University of Mongolia has written in its citation that Prof Mishra is an excellent teacher and has left an indelible imprint on the minds and hearts of Mongolians. The cultural relation between India and Mongolia has strengthened considerably due his missionary zeal and zest to teach Sanskrit and Indological Studies. In Mongolia Prof Mishra has became a cult figure. He has taught Philosophy at Banaras Hindu University and Garhwal University. He had headed the Department of Philosophy at Garhwal University and Department of Buddhist Studies at University of Jammu continuously for 18 year.
