| SAYSS against postponement of Yatra date | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 11: Sri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti (SAYSS) has urged upon the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board chairman not to change once upon again the date of yatra under pressure of separatists.
Addressing the meeting of SAYSS members its convener Brig. Retd., Suchet Singh said under no circumstances yatra date be changed once again which will hurt the religious sentiment of the people in the country. He said by shifting the dates, the business community, including hoteliers, travel agents and tour operators, transport, shikarawallas, traders, ponywallas have gone under a great loss also the number of Yatries those who have booked the rail, air tickets and accommodation are also the victims of uncertainty.
SAYSS warns the govts. and SASB don’t postpone the already declare schedule of Yatra. Any attempt delay in the yatra by the vested interest and antinational elements must be curbed by the govt. and smooth yatra should be ensured. Otherwise the govt. should be prepared to face the wrath of the masses.
