Early Times Report RAJOURI, July 8: The Indian Army conducted a mobile medical patrol at Karma village in Parat, Rajouri to provide essential healthcare services to local residents, including members of the Gujjar and Bakkarwal community. The initiative was aimed at reaching remote areas where people often face difficulties in accessing regular medical facilities due to isolated locations and challenging terrain. The medical patrol, equipped with essential medicines and basic healthcare supplies, provided on-the-spot medical assistance, health check-ups and treatment for common ailments. The team also distributed necessary medicines and sensitised the locals on preventive healthcare, hygiene, nutrition and disease prevention. Special focus was given to women's healthcare and the medical needs of children. A total of 24 beneficiaries, including 07 men, 11 women and 06 children, benefitted from the initiative. The local population expressed deep gratitude to the Indian Army for bringing medical services to their doorstep.
