| J&K police arrested absconder at Billawar, evading arrest since 7 years | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, July 8: J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS*has arrested an absconder in connection with a case registered at Police Station Billawar during the year 2019 and executed the arrest warrant issued by the Hon'ble Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Court Billawar under Section 512 Cr.P.C. The absconder was evading his arrest from the last seven (07) years. A team of Police Station Billawar led by SHO Billawar under the supervision of SP Ops Upper Kathua and SDPO Billawar succeeded in arresting the absconder, namely Bhushan Kumar S/O Punnu Ram R/O Dhar Dugnoo, Tehsil Basholi, District Kathua in case FIR No. 68/2019 U/S 380/511 RPC registered at Police Station Billawar. Accordingly, the said absconder was produced in the court of law. Thus, the arrest warrant U/S 512 Cr.P.C issued against him was executed while further investigation is underway. |
