Jammu, June 11: K.C. Public School students excelled in Inter school IT competition (North Zone) “IT UTSAV-2009” organized by Spring Dale senior secondary school, Amritsar in association with NIIT. In this 2 days long IT-UTSAV-2009, 12 schools from different regions of North zone participated while 12 students of K.C. Public School represented the J&K state in this competition along with Sanjeev Gupta (Co-ordinator, IT- Department of school).
Students who participated were Akshay Shekar, Karan Gupta, Anoop Gupta, Satish Mehra, Surya Dhar, Dhani Koul, Shivam Koul, Mayuk Bhat, Danish Padha of class 10th, Moosa Saleem, Zeeshan Hyder of class 11th and Shivang Saini of class 8th. They participated in various events and won first prize thus lifting the overall championship trophy.
Principal of school Jorawar Singh congratulated the students for their fine performance and appreciated the effort of school information technology department co-ordinator Gupta and faculty members of the department.
