| Awareness programme on climate change held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 11: The directorate of environment, ecology and remote sensing organized an awareness programme on climate change and its impact on planet earth in collaboration with heritage school, here today.
The programme was conducted in two phases- in the first phase a poster making competition was held and in the second phase a symposium on the topic. Climate change and its impact on planet earth were conducted. The participants enlightened the audience about the threat of climate change being faced by the planet earth, the causes behind it and steps that can be taken to mitigate this problem.
The winners of the poster making competition and the symposium were acknowledged by the chief guest, Uma Sharma, vice president Patanjali Moga Samiti, Jammu and Kashmir.
