RAMGARH, July 9: Government Degree College, Ramgarh organized an Awareness Programme against Dowry, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, Principal. The programme was coordinated by Prof. Brham Dutt, Assistant Professor of Dogri, and aimed at sensitizing students, faculty, and the wider community about the harmful consequences of dowry practices.
In her address, Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol emphasized that education must serve as a powerful tool for social transformation. She urged students to uphold values of equality, dignity, and justice, and to reject dowry in all forms.
