JAMMU, July 9: The District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Jammu today organised a job fair at the Employment Complex, Toph Sherkhania, providing a platform for job seekers and employers.
The job fair witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 600 job seekers from across the district participating. Twenty-one private companies from diverse sectors participated, offering employment opportunities across various job profiles and interacting directly with candidates through recruitment and counselling sessions. A total of 212 candidates were shortlisted for various positions.
A Mission YUVA Help Desk was also established at the venue to guide candidates on the objectives, benefits, registration process and opportunities available under Mission YUVA, particularly for those interested in self-employment and entrepreneurship. |
