Director Agriculture Jammu Reviews Physical, Financial Progress of HADP, CAPEX, CSS Projects in Jammu

JAMMU, July 9: Director Agriculture Jammu, Anil Gupta, today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the physical and financial progress of various developmental projects and schemes being implemented in Jammu district under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), CAPEX, Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and NABARD.
The meeting was attended by SMS-RL Krishan Kant, Chief Agriculture Officer Jammu Manohar Lal Sharma, Assistant Director Planning Jammu Harish Chander, ASCO Akhnoor Rajesh Kumar Langer, ASCO Jammu Dr. Ambika Rani, SDAO Marh Khalid Hassan, SDAO R.S. Pura Arun Jaral, SDAO Dansal Ashwani Gupta, SDAO Akhnoor Rajan Sharma, technical officers from the Directorate of Agriculture Jammu and other field functionaries.
During the meeting, the Director conducted a detailed review of the physical achievements and financial expenditure under all ongoing schemes and projects. He examined the status of infrastructure works, utilisation of funds, progress of sanctioned works and district-wise implementation of the approved action plans.
Emphasising the importance of timely execution, Anil Gupta directed all officers to ensure that every developmental work is carried out strictly in accordance with the approved action plan and prescribed timelines. He instructed the field officers to closely monitor the execution of works so that all projects are completed within the stipulated period without compromising quality standards.
The Director also stressed the need for expeditious processing and submission of bills to the Treasury to avoid delays in financial progress and to ensure optimum utilisation of allocated funds within the current financial year. He instructed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and implementing agencies to maintain complete financial discipline and ensure that all eligible payments are processed promptly.
