JAMMU, July 9: On the auspicious occasion of Sri Hargobind Sahib Ji Prakash Purab, the Inner Wheel Club of Jammu Tawi, District 307, organized Chabeel Sewa and Channa Bread Sewa at Gurudwara Baba Fateh Singh Sahib, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The 4 hour sewa was conducted under the guidance of Club President Jaswant Kour
Club members contributed Rooh Afza, milk, sugar Ice and other essential ingredients and actively participated in the preparation, distribution and management of the Chabeel with great dedication and compassion.
The initiative aimed to provide relief and refreshments to devotees and passers-by during the hot summer day, reflecting the true spirit of selfless service. A total of 20 members participated in the project. Around 1500 devotees benefited from the sewa. An amount of Rs 20,000/- was spent on the project. |
