Extension in trips of Chhapra - Pathankot - Chhapra Weekly Special Train for passenger convenience

Jammu, July 10: Keeping in view the additional rush of passengers during the summer season and upcoming festivals, and in response to passenger demand, Northern Railway, Jammu Division has temporarily extended the trips of Train No. 05193 Chhapra - Pathankot and Train No. 05194 Pathankot - Chhapra Weekly Special trains. This decision has been taken with the objective of providing better connectivity and convenient travel facilities to passengers.
As per details, Train No. 05193 Chhapra - Pathankot Weekly Special, which runs every Monday and was earlier notified till 13 July 2026, will now run from 20 July 2026 to 28 September 2026 for passenger convenience. During this extended period, the train will make a total of 11 trips.
Similarly, the return train Train No. 05194 Pathankot - Chhapra Weekly Special, which runs every Wednesday and was earlier notified till 15 July 2026, has now been extended from 22 July 2026 to 30 September 2026. This train will also operate a total of 11 trips during this period.
Shri Uchit Singhal, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Jammu Division said, “Keeping in mind the continuous demand from passengers, we have decided to extend the trips of these special trains. Our aim is that passengers travelling between Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab get additional options and reach their destinations without any inconvenience. Railways continues to take such steps from time to time, keeping passenger convenience as top priority.”
Jammu Division requests passengers to contact the IRCTC website, mobile app, or the nearest reservation counter for train information and timetable.
