| Mega Free Medical Camp held at Dandasan Mata Mandir, Bolian Rokali | | | Early Times Report THATHRI, July 10: A Mega Free Medical Aid-cum-Awareness Camp was organized at Dandasan Mata Mandir (Bolian Rokali) in Medical Block Thathri, under the guidance of Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr Vinod Sharma, and Block Medical Officer Thathri, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Kichloo, on 09-07-2026. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from devotees and local residents, who availed themselves of a wide range of free healthcare services. During the camp, more than 400 patients were screened by a team of doctors and provided with free Allopathic and AYUSH medicines as per their medical needs. Essential diagnostic tests, including Blood Sugar and Hemoglobin (Hb) screening, were also carried out for early detection and timely treatment of health conditions. An awareness session under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was also organized during the camp. The participants were sensitized about the harmful effects of substance abuse, the importance of leading a drug free life and the need for collective community efforts to eradicate the menace of drug addiction. The public was encouraged to actively support the campaign by spreading awareness and promoting healthy lifestyle practices. The medical team included Dr. Sadeeq Wani (MO), Dr Ikhlaq Hussain (MO RBSK), Dr. Anamika (MO RBSK), Mr Anil Singh (Lab Tech), Mrs Pooja Devi (FMPHW), Mr Akshay Kumar (MMPHW), and Balwant Singh (Rtd Head Phst), who ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the camp. The initiative was widely appreciated by the local community, with beneficiaries expressing their gratitude to the Health Department for organizing the camp and providing quality healthcare services at their doorstep. |
