| 70 swap sides via LoC in Uri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, June 11: 70 persons swapped today sides along the Line of Control (LoC) via Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service on Thursday, official sources informed. Sources said, while 30 persons crossed over to Pakistan occupied Kashmir, 40 persons from PoK reached Valley after crossing "Aman Setu (Peace Bridge)" in Uri town of Baramulla district in north Kashmir. Among the 35 persons who travelled to PoK included six first timers from valley, who will meet their relations first time after the partition of India and Pakistan six decades ago. The remaining 24 were citizens of Pakistan who return after twenty eight days stay in Valley. Sources said 33 first-timers from PoK arrived here in the bus. Seven persons from this side also returned here after meeting their relatives in PoK. Seventy persons had boarded weekly Poonch-Rawlakote bus service and exchanged sides via Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point last Monday.
