RAMBAN, July 14: Acting promptly on a missing report, Ramban Police successfully traced a missing person and reunited him safely with his family. The missing person namely Ramu Kashyap S/o Narad Kashyap R/o Janjgir Champa, Chhattisgarh, had reportedly gone missing after getting separated from his family at Langar Point, Mehar, Ramban. A missing report in this regard was entered at Police Station Ramban vide DD No. 19 dated 13/07/2026, following which an immediate inquiry was initiated.
During the course of inquiry, it was ascertained that after getting separated from his family, Ramu Kashyap had boarded an unknown bus proceeding towards Jammu. During the journey, he informed the driver that he wished to travel to Katra and that his family would also be reaching there. The driver accordingly dropped him at a suitable location, from where he boarded a Government bus bound for Katra Bus Stand.
Upon reaching Katra Bus Stand, Ramu Kashyap waited for his family and searched for them in and around the bus stand. After some time, the bus carrying his family arrived at Katra, where he was successfully reunited with them.
Following the successful tracing and reunion of the missing person with his family, the missing report has been closed as traced.
