| MLA Arvind Gupta strengthens water supply network, inaugurates new pipeline | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 17: Continuing his focus on improving basic civic infrastructure in Jammu West, MLA Arvind Gupta on Friday inaugurated a 330-metre-long PHE water supply pipeline at Maheshpura Chowk, Ward No. 27. The project has been completed at a cost of Rs 5.50 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The newly laid pipeline is aimed at strengthening the drinking water distribution network and ensuring an uninterrupted and reliable water supply to residents of the locality. Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta said that access to safe drinking water is a basic necessity and the government is committed to strengthening essential public infrastructure across Jammu West. He said development works are being taken up in a planned manner to improve the quality of life of residents and assured that public welfare will continue to remain his highest priority. “Providing better civic amenities to every household is our commitment. We are continuously working to strengthen drinking water supply, roads, drainage and other essential infrastructure so that people of Jammu West receive the facilities they deserve. Development will continue without any interruption, and every genuine public demand will be addressed on priority,” said Arvind Gupta. The local residents appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude for the timely execution of the project, stating that the new pipeline would help improve water availability in the area. Among those present on the occasion were Kushant Prajapati, Mohit Vaid, Kiran Sharma, Happy Sharma, and Sudesh Sharma, besides local residents and party workers. |
