Early Times Report Jammu, June 12: The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) condoled the death of Dr. Kulwant Singh, Director (Retd.) Animal Husbandry Department who passed away here the other day. As per press release, a condolence meeting was held today at PCC HQ under the chairmanship of S. Gurmukh Singh, vice president of PCC. Speaking in the meeting Singh recalled the services rendered by late Dr. Kulwant Singh to the society. After retiring from service as Director Animal Husbandry, he put himself for the services of poor and needy. He was a great social figure in the society and champion for the protection and care of animals and wild life. Besides he was a great human rights activist who believed in justice for all irrespective of caste, creed or religion. The meeting conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul in heaven. Among others who condoled the death Th. Har Sing, Yash Pal Khajuria, Parduman Singh, Ravinder Sharma, Shah Mohd. Choudhary, Shiv Kumar Sharma, K.K. Pangotra, B.B. Gupta, S. Kirtan Singh, Nek Mohd, Mansa Ram, Mian Nazir Ahmed and others.
