Inquiry against BMO, medical staff

Akhnoor, June 12: Inquiry has been initiated against the Block Medical Officer and other medical staff of Akhnoor hospital for their alleged absence in the hospital when a patient died.
Two persons were taken to hospital after they consumed poison but the medical staff was not present in the hospital and they were rushed to GMC hospital while they were on way one between them died. On the allegations of truancy Director Health Jasbir Singh has ordered inquiry into the incident, “ The inquiry of the incident is on and further step will be taken after inquiry report”, Director Health informed. Pertinent to mention here that two lovelorn identified as Aman Kumar son of Parmanand resident of Plawanwala and Sunita Devi,name changed, daughter of Ramdas resident of Akhnoor consumed poisonous substance both were taken to Akhnoor hospital and finding absence of staff they were rushed to GMC hospital but Aman died en rout where as the treatment of the girl is going on in the GMC hospital.
