JAMMU, June 13: The 55th annual Bambyal Kesari Vishal Dangal, organized by Bambyal Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, shall be held on June 17 at Bambyal.
A decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of the organizing committee held under the chairmanship of president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association and member J&K State Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma.
The meeting among others was attended by members of Bambyal Dangal Committee including Bashir Ahamed (president), Manjoor Hussain, Bishan Dass, Mohd Din, Prabhu Dayal, Pawan Kumar, Nazir Ahmed, Gulam Nabi, Sher Singh, Rattan Lal, Jagdish Chander, Madan Lal and Kewal Krishan.
“About 60-65 wrestlers from different states like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP, HP and Chandigarh as also from parts of J&K, Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Rajouri, Doda and belt forces of BSF and J&K Police are likely to participate in this Dangal.
