JAMMU, June 13: Enforcement wing led by Chief Enforcement Officer on Saturday raided at various place including Dogra Chowk, Exhibition Chowk and Press Club where shopkeepers have had placed their goods infornt of their shops occupying payments and footpaths. One mini truck load containing stoves, umbrellas, weighing scales, utensils, benches, plastic drums, steel plates, jugs and tarpals were recovered.
Another team headed by Health Officer along with food inspectors and sanitary inspectors visited Channi Himmat, Railway Station, Trikuta Nagar, Janipur and Muthi are where they challaned 70 cases for violating provisions of PFA ct of 1954. Team also destroyed 150 KG unwholesome food articles besides seized 100 KG polythene bags fron Sabziwalas, meat sellers, cheese sellers, halwais, karyana sellers etc.
