Early Times Report DODA, July 27: Continuing its sustained drive against illegal mining and unauthorized transportation of mineral resources, SHO Police Station Thathri, along with his police team, intercepted a tipper during the intervening night at Kalnai Naka, Thathri, during routine naka checking. During the checking, a tipper bearing Registration No. JK06C-9541, loaded with approximately 200 cubic feet of sand, was found transporting the mineral without a valid e-Challan, thereby violating the prescribed rules governing the transportation of minor minerals. Accordingly, the vehicle was seized on the spot, and the matter was immediately reported to the District Mineral Officer (DMO), Doda, for initiating legal action under the relevant provisions of law. Doda Police remains steadfast in its commitment to preventing illegal mining and unauthorized transportation of mineral resources. The public is urged to report any such unlawful activities to the nearest Police Station so that prompt legal action can be taken. |
