| Inter-School District Level selection trial/competitions held at MA Stadium Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 1: Department of youth services and sports of district Jammu held Inter-School District Level selection trials/competitions held at MA Stadium, sacred heart Jammu and rifle shooting hallGandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Inter-School District Level Selection trials in the disciplines of Rifle Shooting at Shooting Hall Gandhinagar and Kurash at MA Stadium Jammu and competitions for Kalarippayattu at Sacred Heart Jammu respectively. These selection trials/competitions are being organized U-AAG for Boys and Girls with enthusiastic participation from government and private schools across the district. More than 160 students participated in theses competitions, making the event a grand success. These competitions providing a platform for young players to showcase their talents and vie for the victory in these esteemed competitions
These competitions are being organised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports JK UT Anuradha Gupta (JKAS) under the guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Inderjeet Singh (JKAS), under the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma with the very support of Activity Incharge Saleem ur Rehman.
DYSSO Jammu appreciated the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, conveners, technical officials, and Physical Education staff. He expressed confidence that the competitions would provide a strong platform for nurturing young sporting talent and strengthening the culture of sports in the district. Match was officiated by Jatinder Kumar and Sunil Abrol in Kurash, Vishal Bharti and Ashish Sharma in Rifle Shooting and Amardeep Singh and Gurdeepika Kour in Kalarippayattu.
