SRINAGAR, JUNE 13 – The State Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah approved promotion of following Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) officers to the Super Time Scale and Special Scale.
Ghulam Nabi Lone, Mohammad Shafi Rather, Sudershan Sharma, Syed Altaf Hussain, Mehraj Ahmad Kakroo, Satish Nehru, Satya Pal Bhardwaj, Parvez Ahmad Malik, Jia Lal Sharma and Anil Kumar Gupta were promoted to the Super Time Scale while as Kamala Devi, Mohammad Amin Bhat, Satish Chander Sawhney, Ali Raza, Ravinder Gupta, Narinder Kour, Abdul Rashid Lone, Roshan Lal Vishen, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Bashir Ahmad Bhat and Dr. K. K. Kitchlu were promoted to the Special Scale.
The Cabinet also approved promotion of the following officers to the Selection Grade of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS):
Talat Parvez, Anil Kumar Gupta, Satpal, R. S. Mehta, Ali Asgar Choudhary, Rukhsana Gani, RK Sharma, Rehana Batul, S. Inderjeet Singh, Ravinder Kumar Pandita, Zubair Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad Shah, Mohammad Hanif, Ram Rattan Sharma, MH Bhatti, Onkar Nath, Mushtaq Fatima, Reva Kumari, Masood Ahmad Raja, Shamima Rashid, Mohammad Shafi, Ram Gopal, Nasir Iqbal Parae, Rattan Lal Bhellum, Ajay Singh Jamwal, Mohammad Akbar Ganai, Hafiz-ullah Shah, Arif-ullah, Mir Tariq Ali, MK Raina, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, Syed Shabir Hussain, Bachan Singh, Ghulam Rasool Khan, Gulzar Hussain and Sheela Bhagat.
The Cabinet also approved appointment of Dr. Shahida Mir as Principal, Government Medical College, Srinagar and promotion of Mohammad Ramzan, Additional Secretary, Legislative Assembly as Secretary Legislative Assembly.
The promotion/regularization of the following officers to the post of Chief Architect, J&K Architects Organization was also approved by the Cabinet.
VK Gupta as Chief Architect from 04.01.2007 to 31.05.2007, SK Wadhera as Chief Architect from 01.06.2007 to 31.08.2008 and Mr. Munir Ahmad Khan as Chief Architect from 01.09.2008.
Meanwhile, the State Cabinet also approved Selection Grade to following IPS officers of 1996 batch of J&K Cadre in Selection Grade of Rs. 14300-18300 (Pre-revised) with effect from 01.01.2009:
Mukesh Singh, Mr. M. K. Sinha, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Danish Rana, Mr. Avtar Singh Bali, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma, Mr. Jagjit Kumar, Mr. Shafkat Ali Watali, Mr. Mubarak Ahmad Ganaie and Mr. J. P. Singh.
The regularization of Dr. H. S. Raina who has held the post of Director, Sheep Husbandry Department, Jammu in the pay scale of Rs. 14300-18300 with effect from 01.06.2008 to 31.03.2009 was also approved by the Cabinet.
