| Orientation of Masters, MBA and PhD Students at NIPER held | | | Early Times Report NEW DELHI, Aug 3: National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) SAS Nagar conducted its orientation programme of newly admitted Masters, MBA and PhD Students at NIPER SAS Nagar today i.e. on 03.08.2026. The orientation started with the address by the Director, NIPER Prof. Dulal Panda. In his address he said that it is the students' day today, he congratulated to students for getting admission in oldest NIPER. He told the students to consider it as their dream home. He informed the students that placement record of the NIPER SAS Nagar's students is very good. He further mentioned that the Institute has started two new courses i.e. Masters in Biopharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Sciences. Prof. KB Tikoo, Dean, NIPER, in his address mentioned that the students have achieved their seats with their hard work and which they will cherish throughout their life. He told in this institute, the students will be exposed to different disciplines of pharmacy during their stay and it is necessary at the age of AI. He further introduced all the Associate deans of the Institute. Prof. Ipsita Roy, Associate Dean (Academics), introduced all the faculty members, and key administrative officers. It was followed by address by Prof. Anupama Mittal, In charge, Academic and Examination Section. She briefed about the policies and procedures of the Examination Section. She also mentioned about the admission statistics and informed that total 295 students (Masters (191 students), MBA (62 students) and PhD (42 students)) took admission in the year 2026. It was followed by the address by Prof. Pravin K Shende, Chief Warden, Hostels. He introduced all the Hostel wardens and other assisting staff. Lt. Col. (Dr.) Gurjit Sidhu, Consultant Medical Officer briefed regarding the medical facilities of the institute and informed the students to contact her for any sign of anxiety and other illnesses. She also introduced Dr. Madhu Tuli, Gynaecologist and mentioned the details of her visiting days and timings. |
