| Idol recovered in Kokernag while digging | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, June 14: An idol was recovered from Kokernag village in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district by some villagers after they were carrying out repair works around a natural spring, police sources said.
Sources told Press Bureau of India that some villagers while digging around a natural spring at Nagbal Lisser in Kokernag recovered an idol of small size, which they immediately handed over to the police.
Police sources said that the idol has been put in safe custody and officials of the archeological department have been informed about the recovery.
