Jammu, June 14: The Other Backward Classes Centre Committee (OBCCC) held an emergency meeting under the chairmanship of Liaqat Ali, a young member of OBC.
In the meeting, they appealed to the state and newly Central Government to take an immediate action regarding 27% reservation out of which 10% should be given to OBC people so, that they must be relieved from the problems regarding education, employment etc. Beside this, he appealed to the J&K state OBC people to unite themselves.So, the problemsare solved. Everytime elections come and everytime OBC people are ditched by the State Government that they would be given reservation.Since the 63 years have been passed no reservatio is given.He alsotold to the State Government that if they would be deprived from the said reservation, the members of OBC would agitate against the Government and the Government will be responsible for all.
Members who addressed in the gathering include Mohan Lal, Ram Lal, Mohammad Yaseen, Imran Salaria, Talib Hussain, Noor Mohd., Krishan Lal, Davinder Singh, Riaz-ul-Haq, Mohd.Javed, Mohd. Aftab, Des Raj etc and many more peoples.
