J&K Bank organizes Mission YUVA Review-cum-Felicitation Meet

SRINAGAR, Aug 19: J&K Bank organised a review-cum-felicitation meet at its divisional office Kashmir to recognise outstanding performers and review the progress achieved under Mission YUVA across the Kashmir Division.
Director Employment and Director, Mission YUVA, Harvinder Singh (IAS) chaired the meeting in the presence of Bank's Divisional Head (Kashmir) Arshad Qadri, Zonal Heads of Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam, Pulwama and Srinagar, Cluster Heads of Srinagar, Kulgam and Anantnag-II besides officials from various branches across the Division also attended the meeting.
The review focused on sustaining the momentum through stronger field-level coordination, faster processing of eligible cases and continued support to beneficiaries. During the event, notable performers from across the Kashmir Division were felicitated for their outstanding contribution to the implementation of Mission YUVA.
Appreciating the Bank's contribution as the principal financial partner in Mission YUVA, Mission Director Harvinder Singh acknowledged the coordinated efforts of the Bank's divisional, zonal, cluster and branch-level functionaries in achieving significant milestones under the programme.
He said, "Mission YUVA seeks to translate the aspirations of our youth into sustainable enterprises and meaningful livelihoods. As its principal financial partner, J&K Bank has played a vital role in taking the programme to the grassroots through timely financial support, sustained handholding, and close coordination with the implementing agencies."
"The commitment demonstrated by the Bank's field teams gives us confidence that Mission YUVA will continue to generate enduring employment opportunities across Jammu and Kashmir", he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Divisional Head (Kashmir) Arshad Qadri expressed gratitude to the Mission Director for chairing the meeting and guiding the Bank's functionaries.
He said, "For J&K Bank, Mission YUVA is not merely a financing programme but an opportunity to nurture a new generation of confident and capable entrepreneurs. Our teams across Kashmir remain fully committed to supporting eligible youth from identification and appraisal to disbursement and post-finance handholding, so that their ideas are transformed into sustainable ventures."
