| Azad accorded warm reception at Srinagar Airport on his return from USA, Belgium | | |
SRINAGAR, September 25 – Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad was given warm welcome at airport here this afternoon when he arrived after 10-days successful tour of USA and Belgium.
Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir is the first Chief Minister who was presented such a prestigious award by one of the distinguished American Organization. The Conferment of this award of Pride by Federation of American Muslims of Indian Origin to Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad was already hailed by the Cabinet in its recent meeting.
The way intellectuals Think Tank members, European Parliament, cross-sections of USA, people of Belgium were impressed with the view point of Mr. Azad brought lurals not to Jammu and Kashmir only but whole country.
Chief Minister availed his visit to USA and Belgium for the full benefit of people of Jammu and Kashmir by persuading NRIs, traders to make liberal investment in the economical sector of the state. He successfully highlighted ideal and congenial atmosphere of the state for establishment of silicon and Information Technology network which will have capability to feed Information Technology at globe level
The Chief Minister immediately after landing Srinagar straight way proceeded to Civil Secretariat to take stock of Ramdan arrangements. The Chief Minister preferred to reach Srinagar on the first day of Ramdan for this purpose. |
