Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 21: Jammu West MLA Arvind Gupta on Friday inaugurated development works worth Rs 70 lakh in Ward No. 41, reaffirming his commitment to providing improved civic amenities and community infrastructure across the constituency. The development package includes the construction of a multipurpose hall adjoining the Radha Krishna Temple, besides several lane and drain works in the locality. The multipurpose hall will provide residents with a dedicated venue for social, cultural and community activities, while the lane and drainage projects will improve local connectivity, sanitation and the overall quality of life. Addressing the gathering, Arvind Gupta said that development guided by the needs and priorities of residents remains his foremost objective. "Every ward of Jammu West deserves strong infrastructure and dependable civic amenities. We are working continuously to address public requirements and ensure that development reaches every neighbourhood without discrimination," he said. The MLA stated that Ward No. 41 remains an important part of the ongoing development drive in Jammu West. He assured residents that all genuine issues concerning roads, lanes, drains, sanitation and community facilities would be addressed systematically. Arvind Gupta also emphasised that development projects must deliver lasting benefits to the public. He asked the executing agencies to maintain the highest standards of quality and complete the works within the stipulated timeframe. Local residents and members of the Radha Krishna Mandir Committee welcomed the initiative and thanked the MLA for responding to the long-pending developmental requirements of the area.
